A car turning into the road I was trying to pull out of flashed me out. Traffic is generally unhurried here and it's usual for cars to wave pedestrians across. Letting people out helps me feel like a good person and makes me smile.
Also team mate went into the lab (I wasn't dressed appropriately) and found me a calculator of the model I required. He's been down & done me small favours regarding the lab before too.
