bins

haven't posted for a while but I've still been kind & witnessed as kinds of kindness :-)

husband put the bin outside the gate, the neighbour put it on the roadside when he put his out.  I've pulled them both up to the drives, left his by his gate, & put ours away.

as simple as saying hello to the people we pass, or just smiling at them.

simple gestures

whoops - been absent a while.  Yesterday a van parked up outside the house door.  I was wondering how to reverse off the drive cos I couldn't see past the van - the driver got out & waved me out when there was no traffic coming :-)

sewed some buttons back onto trousers for husband

I helped the lad next door feed my bunnies dandelion leaves

rubbish

instead of tutting at the rubbish (empty pizza box, crisps packets, etc.) on the table & leaving it for husband, I put his rubbish in the bin. 

apologies

I missed posting yesterday, but I was still kind.  Kind by apologising for being grumpy with husband.

doors

I held the doors open for several people today, sometimes that involved letting them come into the room from the corridor.  Seems sensible to let them out of the space I want to be in ;-)  told you kindness was easy.

chocolate

I shared my chocolate, at work with my boss, at home with husband.

washing up

today I did some washing up, at work & at home

chill

picked up husband's rubbish & put it in the bin without complaining.  I made lunch so he could game with his friends undisturbed.

driving kindnesses

300 mile round trip this weekend so basic consideration when changing lanes, letting others change lanes, use of mirrors and indicators...  told you it's about the small things ;-)

Shopping

we were unloading our basket (second in line at a till) and the guy behind us only had 2 items so I let him go through in front.  The till was just coming online ie the bloke at the front hadn't had anything scanned yet so he did the same & the guy with 2 items got waved right to the front!

Being kind leads to happiness.  I've started this kindness blog as a reminder to me, and an example to others.  A kind deed a day.  Simple acts are great acts :-)

Today I gave out peace doves at dancing.  The ladies in the class were really pleased to receive them.
