Maranho is absolutely my favourite traditional Portuguese dish.
Yesterday partner popped into the local restaurant to pick up some bits just before they closed for a week's holiday. They were in great spirits and gave him a takeout dinner for the three of us - maranho and migas - rather than see it go to waste. Such a treat when I came down from work. Mmmmm.
