More gas bottle kindness

I've a friend who doesn't have a lot of cash and uses the large gas bottles which are about 100 euros a pop. She ran out just before Christmas. Isn't that always the way?

She still owed the gas man for the previous bottle, but he came round to drop in another. When he arrived, he swore blind she didn't owe him for the previous one, so effectively gave her a bottle of gas. This is the second time the same man has 'forgotten' her debt to him, so pretty sure this is his way of helping her out without embarrassing her.
